Customer Services Committee
The Customer Services Committee interacts with utility managers by sharing organizational information, operational data and conducting member surveys on related subjects. The committee specifically deals with questions concerning customer information, meter reading, billing, collection/credit, service termination, and legislation. The committee works toward the development of uniform customer service standards and explores new ideas and trends to enhance customer service operations.
The Committee holds three meetings each year with the first meeting at CMUA’s annual conference (first quarter). The remaining two meetings alternate North and South (California) depending on the site of the Annual Conference. The Customer Services Committee is one of CMUA’s oldest and most active committees.
